Community Garage Sale

It's time to clean up and clean out.  The Annual Castlewood Ranch Garage Sale is scheduled for Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th.  This garage sale is being held in conjunction with several other large Association's in the area so traffic should be good for everyone.  If you would like to advertise your garage sale specifically, you are welcome to do so.  The Association will advertise for a large community-wide sale but will not list individuals that are holding sales within the neighborhood.  We wish you much success in your treasure hunt!

At the annual meeting held on February 12, 2019, Steve Peterson and Josh Musgrave were elected to the Board of Directors.  Your full current Board of Directors and contact emails can be found under the "Board Member" tab on the top left side of the website.

HOA Account Access/Pay Online
To review your account or make an online payment, please visit the Client Portal by clicking on Resident Login. Please note this login is different than the login you receive for the website you are currently viewing.  Unfortunately with the recent management change on August 1st, you will need to establish a new user and password to make your payments.

LOST PETS

KWAL has been purchased by Sherwin Williams.  The stain can now be obtained at the Sherwin Williams on Plum Creek.  The color is still called "Beachwood".  You are also permitted to color match the stain and utilize another brand.  Click on the link above for the Approved Fence Stain formula.
 
DESIGN GUIDELINES INFORMATION

Please note: Any exterior change to structure, landscaping, fencing, signage and lighting requires application and approval BUT members may plant trees without DRC approval. See Appendix G for a list of recommended trees (green ash is no longer recommended). 
  • Sheds or any accessory buildings: Requires DRC approval as to size and location. For an application to be considered, signatures of neighbors acknowledging installation must be submitted with the application. All neighbors whose property abuts the subject property must submit acknowledgments. Size of the accessory building is limited to 8'x10'x8' high. Neighbor Acknowledgement Form
  • Detached Garages see Appendix H and submit Neighbor Acknowledgement Form
  • Exterior paint color change: The DRC will consider color changes on a case by case basis, but pastel colors (pink, yellow, pale green, pale blue) and bright blues and greens for body colors are unlikely to be approved. Purples, violets, oranges and white for the body color will not be approved. Very dark colors for the body will not be approved. Body colors should be muted, and should take into account homes in the same vicinity. Shutters, doors, "triangles" and trim may be darker and brighter as accents. Submitting a photo or computer generated example of the proposed color scheme is helpful.
  • Swimming pools:  All pools deeper than 18" require DRC approval. A Town of Castle Rock building permit is required and should be submitted with DRC application.
  • Dead Trees - Shrubs: Should be removed and replaced as soon as possible.   
  • Weeds:  Must be removed from all property.  Landscape beds, both sides of fence, rock beds and driveway cracks.
  • Trash Cans:  Empty trash cans shall be removed from the edge of the street as soon as practical following collection. Report a Trash Service Problem - make sure to include your address.
